Week 10 - Barbadian Recipes

 A traditional Bajan meal includes meat (mainly chicken or pork) or fish, that has been marinated in herbs and spices, a starchy side dish such as sweet potatoes and some spicy gravy, as well as salad and fruits. Did you know the name Barbados was chosen by a Portuguese explorer called Pedro a Campos? Pedro was enchanted by the islands fig trees which have a beard like appearance and hence named the island "Los Barbados" which means The Bearded One! {alertSuccess}
